Part 12 - The Fame

I woke up and felt that Tom was stroking my back and whispering stuff in my ear such as 'Everything will be okay my brother'. I was laying with my head in his lap. I sad up quickly and looked at Tom:
- Oh shit! Did i fall asleep? What did i miss? Did anything happen? Please tell me...
I was panicing.
- Calm down bro, Tom said and softly stroked my hair. Everything is alright. I thought you needed some sleep.
I nodded, saw Tom smiling at me and then a nurse came. Everything were so blurry at that hospital. It gave me flashbacks from the night when the paparazzis wouldn't leave us alone, my girl paniced and passed out. I hated the flashbacks. Maybe mostly cause we broke up then. We got together the moment after, but still... It was a terrible moment of our relationship.

- You can make a short visit, the nurse said and looked at me strictly.
I shined up and smiled a bit.
- Really?
- Yes. Come with me.
The nurse was really annoying and short in her answers but it didn't matter that moment cause i was gonna see my love for a while at least. Tom followed me and i followed the nurse as she opened the door to her room. I saw her there, laying on the bed, as beautiful as she always is. She smiled weakly.
- Hey Bill, she said. Come here.
- Hey my angel, i said and walked up to her bed and sat down next to her.
I took her hands in mine and stroked them softly. I was calm now, not panicing like yesterday. Yesterday i saw her for 10 seconds and she was blood drained. This was much better.
- I don't even know what happened with you yesterday, baby, i said and tried to get some answers out of her.
- A gang of girls, beated me down on the street. I think they were... 5 maybe 6 people. I don't really remember...
She started to mumble. I couldn't hear quite what she was trying to say.
- They said something like 'It's her'. I don't remember really, she said.
- You're tired and confused. You should get some more rest, i said and kissed her forhead.
She nodded. It was a short visit and i already missed her the moment i stepped out of the room.

I was sitting in the hallway, thinking about her and what she told me. I couldn't understand what she said when she mummbled... Suddenly i realized; IT WAS THE SAME PEOPLE WHO STALKED ME AND TOM FOR 6 MONTHS!
'It's her!'
They were looking for her, my girlfriend. They wanted to end her. They wanted to end us. I started to panic again. I couldn't let my girl walk out alone anymore. I started to run, run, run, trough the hallway until i blacked out.
